I'm just your average college student, trying to find my place in this world. I stand up for what I believe in, and I will always respect what you believe.
I'm pre-vet and I love what I study. I work on an organic farm on the weekends and I wouldn't trade it for anything. In my free time (whatever that is :P) I like to run, listen to records, enjoy the outdoors, and occasionally go out. I'm always up for trying something new!
Marriage equality all the way.
New friends are always welcome :)

My Conclusion…

A lot of the people on Tumblr have some serious sexual frustration going on. Not that I don’t love all of the sex GIFs, but there IS more to life. :P

As women, we have been so conditioned by society to desire the approval and attention of men that catcalling and harassment on the street can be misconstrued as flattery.
In this article, a woman asking for advice on dealing with catcalls is told that she should appreciate the attention since when’s she’s older she’ll miss it.  The author captures exactly why it’s so confusing for girls today - even though harassment makes us annoyed and makes us feel unsafe, it is still reassurance that we’re pretty.  When we’re younger, the harassment is a pain, but when it’s gone some women do miss that reassurance.  However, I certainly don’t agree with the advice to just ignore the issue now because when you’re old and wrinkly you will wish a homeless man on the street would “compliment” you.
